Jim - professional photog James DeLand, P.E., Managing Partner
B.S., Civil Engineering, Clemson University.  Jim succeeded Founding Partner, Russ Bodwell, as Managing Partner of the firm in 2002 after managing the New Jersey branch office for twenty-three years.  Under his leadership, Henderson and Bodwell created a niche in New Jersey real estate, earning a reputation as a "builder's engineer".  Site Plans and Subdivisions generated by the New Jersey office under his watch were clear, cost effective and could be approved by the myriad of regulatory agencies in the state.  Jim remains active in land use issues, serving on the NJ Builders Association Budget & Finance and Land Use and Planning committees.  In all, Jim brings over forty years of experience in land development design, permitting and construction, including stints with a national homebuilder and as a consulting engineer to municipalities in western Pennsylvania.  Jim is a licensed professional engineer in nine states (NY, NJ, PA, DE, WV, SC, FL, OH, and CT) and a professional planner in NJ.
