Henderson and Bodwell, L.L.P. was founded in September 1975 when Angus D. Henderson of Henderson and Casey, P.C., formed a new partnership with Russell S. Bodwell, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Design of Levitt and Sons, Inc.  The firm was founded to provide a full spectrum of civil engineering and land planning services to private developers and large landholders, drawing upon the wealth of experience developed from Levitt and Sons as well as from Henderson and Casey.

What sets Henderson and Bodwell apart from other consulting engineering firms is that one of our founders, three of the original principals, and many members of our design/drafting staff came from the in-house engineering department of Levitt, one of the nation's leading homebuilders.  Today, with its partners and professionals licensed in fourteen states, Henderson and Bodwell's dedicated staff of civil engineers, land surveyors, land planners, and landscape architects provide services from its offices in New York , New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, and Florida.  Our areas of expertise have grown to include the design of sewage treatment and water treatment plants, parks and other recreational facilities, commercial/retail site plans, and highway improvements, just to name a few.
